Aquaparks
Water, water everywhere! Hungary’s water parks are a delight for all the family. At Debrecen, gateway to Hungary’s Great Plain, the Aquaticum Centre is open all year; under its massive dome, excitement is very much the order of the day. The aquapark at nearby Hajdúszoboszló has a Mediterranean-style beach. The Aquaréna at Mogyoród is just 12 miles from Budapest, while – with 18 water slides measuring up to 400 feet in length – Zalaegerszeg’s Aquacity is one of the largest aqua parks in Central Europe.
